The Yankees won today for the first time in this 4 game series against the Devil Rays by a score of 2 - 1. This game was a real pitchers duel and Mike Mussina won the duel. He gave up only one run in six and a third innings. The Yankees are still one game under 500 and they are looking to win tomorrow to tie the series and tie the season record.

The turning point of the game was in the 5th inning when Bobby Abreu doubled to left field and Morgan Ensberg scored the second yankee run to give the Yankees a 2 run lead. This run turned out to be the difference in the game.
